Fredrik has over 28 years of experience in global markets having worked in advisory roles in London and Sydney. His international career began at Sedgwick, as a Lloyd’s of London reinsurance broker in 1996 before relocating to Sydney in 2003 to set up the Guy Carpenter Sydney office.
Transitioning into Wealth Management in 2006, Fredrik spent 15 years at UBS, Goldman Sachs and Bell Potter Securities. At these firms, Fredrik specialised in providing investment management solutions for Family Offices and UHNW clients, regularly travelling to London, New York, LA and Singapore to source the best of breed fund managers from around the globe.
Prior to founding Cape Horn Capital, Fredrik joined Tribeca Investment Partners and successfully set up Tribeca Private and lead their Wealth Management division.
Fredrik was born in Sweden and spent his early childhood in Stockholm, before relocating to London where he was educated at St Paul’s School, London and he holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Southampton, UK. He is a keen sailor, having competed at an Olympic level in the mid 1990’s, and continues to compete in the sport at national and international regattas.
Fredrik is a keen art follower and was the Chairman of Art Month Sydney, a not-for-profit festival promoting contemporary art in Sydney.
Damien joined Cape Horn Capital in Melbourne following two years at Tribeca as Chief Investment Officer. With a career in the investment and finance industry spanning over 25 years,
Damien’s experience includes equities and fixed income research and corporate finance. Damien spent 15 years as a research analyst at Bell Potter, covering sectors including financials, property, technology and gaming. Damien also covered Fixed Income, as a market leading analyst of the ASX listed debt and hybrids market. Damien has also worked with the Corporate Finance department, on pre-IPO opportunities; pricing, structuring as well as the provision of research. Damien advised BNK Banking Corporation on its wholesale Tier 2 subordinated debt raising completed in 2021.
Damien’s corporate finance career spans 5 years in the Telstra Mergers & Acquisitions department, as well as Hartley Poynton and ANZ Investment Bank. Prior to joining ANZ Investment Bank, Damien was an Associate Banking Analyst in the ANZ Securities research department. Damien holds a Bachelor of Accounting (scholarship) from Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance from FINSIA.
Jane leads the Melbourne Cape Horn Capital Wealth Management operations, bringing extensive experience from a decade-long leadership role in an ASX-listed top 100 corporation with a specialisation in international markets.
