Fredrik has over 29 years of experience in global markets, having held advisory roles in both London and Sydney. His international career began in 1996 at Sedgwick as a Lloyd’s of London reinsurance broker before relocating to Sydney in 2003 to establish the Guy Carpenter Sydney office.
In 2006, Fredrik transitioned into Wealth Management, spending 15 years at UBS, Goldman Sachs, and Bell Potter Securities. During this time, he specialized in providing investment management solutions for Family Offices and UHNW clients, regularly traveling to London, New York, Los Angeles, and Singapore to source top-tier fund managers from around the globe.
Before founding Cape Horn Capital, Fredrik joined Tribeca Investment Partners, where he successfully established Tribeca Private and led its Wealth Management division.
At Cape Horn, Fredrik remains dedicated to preserving and growing his clients’ wealth, many of whom have trusted him for over 18 years. Passionate about global investment opportunities, he carefully sources high-quality investments and fosters strong relationships between founders and his clients, ensuring alignment and long-term success.
Born in Sweden, Fredrik spent his early childhood in Stockholm before relocating to London, where he was educated at St Paul’s School. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Southampton, UK. A passionate sailor, he competed at an Olympic level in the mid-1990s and continues to race in national and international regattas.
Fredrik is also an avid art enthusiast and previously served as Chairman of Art Month Sydney, a not-for-profit festival dedicated to promoting contemporary art in Sydney.
Based in Sydney, Prathav Kevadiyais currently pursuing a Master of Information Technology with a specialisation in Data Analytics at the University of Technology, Sydney. With a strong academic foundation in Mathematics and Computing, he brings a data-centric and analytical approach to his role as an Investment Associate at Cape Horn Capital.
At Cape Horn, Prathav focuses on conducting deep-dive research into companies, sectors, and global investment opportunities. He works closely with Fredrik Blencke, contributing to the formulation of investment strategies by delivering detailed stock analysis, identifying trends, evaluating firm fundamentals, and providing valuation insights. His work plays a key role in supporting Cape Horn’s data-driven investment decision-making process.
Before joining Cape Horn, Prathav worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Tatvasoft and in the Quant Research division at MultiFi, where he developed trading strategies and conducted market regime analysis. He also held a research role at Samsung Prism, enhancing his expertise instructured investigation and applied analytics.
Prathav’s blend of technical knowledge, financial acumen, and strategic thinking supports Cape Horn’s mission to integrate innovation and insight into every layer of the investment process.
Judie is based in Melbourne, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance at the University of Melbourne, while working part-time at Cape Horn. With a solid foundation in both finance and technology, she brings a unique perspective to her role, combining her expertise in financial analysis with a keen interest in technological innovation. Judie has gained valuable experience in the financial sector through her previous roles in market research and brokerage services at Sinolink Securities in Shanghai. Her international exposure, coupled with her academic background, enables her to bring a global outlook to her work.
At Cape Horn, Judie plays a key role in monitoring our fund manager universe, conducting in-depth analysis of investment opportunities, and supporting Fredrik Blencke in the development of investiment strategies. Her research spans a wide range of funds and stocks, providing critical insights that inform our decision-making process.
In addition to her analytical skills, Judie has been a driving force behind the integration of technology within the firm. She has played an instrumental role in embedding AI-driven solutions into our Wealth Management practice, enhancing both the efficiency and effectiveness of our investment strategies.
Armaan Kaushal is based in Sydney and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics at the University of New South Wales, majoring in Finance and Financial Technology. With a broad academic foundation and a strong interest in global markets, he brings a dynamic and analytical approach to his role as an Investment Associate at Cape Horn Capital.
At Cape Horn, Armaan focuses on identifying equity opportunities in emerging markets, with a particular interest in AI infrastructure. He works closely with Fredrik Blencke on capital raising initiatives, while also producing thematic investment posts and stock recommendations that support the firm’s strategic outlook. His work spans in-depth company research, trend analysis, and the evaluation of high-potential sectors, contributing to Cape Horn’s mission of delivering innovative, insight-driven investment solutions.
Armaan’s professional experience includes roles in the Capital Markets team at CBRE, as Project Leader in the Global Consulting Group at UNSW, and most recently in FX Sales, where he gained valuable exposure to currency markets and client relationship management. Outside of work, Armaan enjoys playing pickle ball and staying active, reflecting his energetic and competitive spirit.
Luca Welti is based in Switzerland at the University of St. Gallen, one of the most prestigious economics universities in Europe.
Luca assists in various projects and investments. His responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing financial data, and supporting Fredrik Blencke in the development of investment strategies. His fluency in German, English, and French, along with conversational Italian, allows him to provide tailored support and build strong connections with clients from various linguistic backgrounds.
Having access to a broad network of people around the University and in Europe, Luca's role is pivotal in partnering with one of Europe's leading business universities, enhancing our academic collaborations and integrating cutting-edge research into our investment strategies. This includes embedding AI into our Wealth Management practice.
Luca grew up with a family focused on motorsports, with his father being a racing driver and later Formula 1 team manager for multiple years. He began playing tennis at a young age and started giving lessons by 14, showcasing his early ambitions and dedication.
William is a graduate in Economics (First Class Hons) with a strong interest in financial markets and investment strategy. At Cape Horn, William researches and writes thematic insights on key market developments, identifying emerging trends and opportunities that influence investment decisions. He engages regularly with global fund managers across various asset classes to gather invaluable insights from sector leaders. These insights form the foundation of his research, helping clients navigate macroeconomic shifts, sector movements, and global events with actionable guidance.

Before joining Cape Horn, William gained experience in corporate finance working on M&A advisory, due diligence, and financial modelling. He also co-founded a luxury dinner party business, where he managed operations, pricing strategy, and customer engagement. This experience has enhanced his strategic thinking and ability to adapt to dynamic market conditions.
William is a keen Rugby Union player, having captained The King’s School Canterbury 1st XV. He continues to play Rugby at men’s level.
